SARAJEVO, Bosnia (16 July,2008) - The largest Bosnian engineering group Energoinvest said on Monday it has won a 32 million Euros deal to build transformer stations and transmission lines in Algeria.
Energoinvest said in a statement that it has won the engineering projects on an international tender in a strong competition of world companies.
Energoinvest is among Bosnia's top five exporters and exports account for half its revenues, which amounted to 319.5 million Bosnian Marks in 2007. It aims for revenues of 384.1 million Bosnian Marks this year.
The engineering giant before the 1992-95 Serbian,Montenegrin and Croatian aggressions against Bosnia, Energoinvest has managed in recent years to regain its pre-war markets in Africa and Asia. It said last year that its operation in Algeria was hurt by political situation there.
