IMF DELEGATION STARTS TALKS IN BOSNIA

BANJA LUKA, Bosnia (June 12,2008) – Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission to Bosnia Costas Christou said in the northern Bosnian city of Banja Luka yesterday that signing the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) between Bosnia and the EU would have a long-term positive effect on Bosnia, but short-term there will be certain expenses, caused by the harmonization of taxes and other impositions.

According to Christou, who held a press conference after talking with Serbian fascist Milorad Dodik,leader of the genocidal Serbian creature in Bosnia "RS", talks will be held first with the entity representatives in the course of this and the following week about downsizing the administration, because one of the SAA goals is to have efficient entity governments in Bosnia.

After that the IMF delegation will hold talks with the Bosnian state officials. After a final meeting, the IMF will announce their preliminary conclusions. They will analyze potential impact of the global economy on Bosnia, among other things.

"I AM NOT STOJAN ŽUPLJANIN" CLAIMS SERBIAN WAR CRIMES SUSPECT ARRESTED YESTERDAY

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (June 12,2008) – A man arrested in the genocidal Serbia yesterday has told an investigative judge that he is not Serbian war criminal Stojan Župljanin.

The arrested man claimed to be Branislav Vukadin and therefore did not give any statement because the judge had to order a DNA analysis for which police have 24 hours, meaning that the deadline expires early afternoon today.

During the arrest, the man had identification on him in the name of Branislav Vukadin and police are investigating whether that was a fake.

Serbian war criminal Stojan Župljanin, one of the three leaders of the genocidal paramilitary fascist formations of the Serbians living in Bosnia ,is indicted for "ethnic cleansing", torture,mass murder and other war crimes against Bosnian civilians committed during the 1992-1995 Serbian aggression against Bosnia.

Police say he was arrested Wednesday in the town of Pancevo, outside Belgrade.Meanwhile, the United States, the European Union and the International Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia, ICTY, based in The Hague,The Netherlands. have welcomed the arrest but also told Belgrade it should locate and apprehend the three top Serbian war criminals still at large.

They are: Serbian war criminals Radovan Karadžić and Ratko Mladić, former leaders of the genocidal paramilitary fascist formations of the Serbians living in Bosnia - both charged by the ICTY twice with genocide, and Serbian war criminal Goran Hadžić,former leader of the Serbians living in Croatia, charged with war crimes against Croatian civilians committed during the 1991-1995 Serbian aggression against Croatia.

PAKISTAN DONATES 1000 MOTOCULTIVATORS TO RETURNEES IN SREBRENICA

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (June 12,2008) – The government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan secured a donation of 1.000 motocultivators for the returnees to the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica.

"This is not the first time Pakistan and its people help Bosnia. Their aid was crucial for the defense of Bosnia”, stated the Bosnian President Haris Silajdzic.

This donation will help sustainable return to Srebrenica and development of agriculture. The donation was agreed during the visit of Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf to Bosnia in June 2007.

"I am glad this project is realized since it will help agriculture in Srebrenica and in sustainable return. Cooperation between Bosnia and Pakistan is great in all segments and we continue with friendly support to Bosnia”, stated the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Bosnia Jauhar Saleem.

MAYOR OF DAYTON VISITED SARAJEVO

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (June 12,2008) – The Mayor of Dayton Rhine Mclin ended her two-day visit to the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, Dayton’s sister city.During the visit she held talks about the exchange of students and the necessity for the both cities to get involved into these activities, and especially to ensure the premises where students could meet and discuss during the exchange.

„We are expecting this programme to start during this year“, said the Mayor of Sarajevo Semiha Borovac,after the meeting.

"I have noticed great positive changes in this city“, said Mayor McLin. This has been her second visit to Sarajevo after the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement that ended 1992-1995 Serbian,Montenegrin and Croatian aggressions against Bosnia.

Dayton and Sarajevo agreed to make exchange of visits once a year.A delegation of the City of Sarajevo will visit Dayton at the beginning of the next year.

SAA SIGNING IS EXPECTED TO BOOST DEVELOPMENT OF BOSNIAN STOCK MARKET

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (June 12,2008) - It is reasonable to expect that signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU would come as an incentive to the Bosnian market of securities,Director of the Sarajevo Stock Exchange Zlatan Dedic believes.

All such positive developments attract investors, and this is one of them, he argues.

According to Dedic, there has been a moderate positive trend on the market lately, so that in the past month the SASX index gained more than seven per cent, BIFX went up by more than three per cent. Optimism is slowly returning, which is encouraging, he said.
