IRANIAN PRESIDENT MAHMOUD AHMADINEJAD SUBMITS BILLS ON SECURITY COOPERATION WITH BOSNIA TO IRANIAN MAJLIS

TEHRAN, Iran (March 11,2008) – The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad submitted yesterday to the Iranian Majlis a bill on security cooperation between Iran and Bosnia. The bill has been proposed by the Iranian Interior Ministry and approved by President Ahmadinejad.

The proposed bill is to help deepen friendly ties between the two countries, underlining the significant role of both countries in security of their regions.

Given the importance of security ties at mutual and regional levels, the bill is to cover various issues such as campaign against organized crimes and fostering and upgrading the level of security for civilians.

The bill consists of one introduction and eleven clauses.
