GENOCIDE CHARGES FILED AGAINST SERBIAN WAR CRIMINAL VASO TODOROVIC

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (June 4,2008) - Genocide charges were filed today against Serbian war criminal Vaso Todorovic,a former member of the genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor's formations, accused of taking part in the 1995 mass murder of up to 10,000 Bosnian civilians in the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica, Europe's worst slaughter since World War II.

Vaso Todorovic, 40, allegedly helping search villages for Bosnian civilians during the Serbian aggression against Bosnia, kicking them out of their homes and illegally arresting thousands of them. He marched the Bosnian civilians to a facility "knowing they would be executed there," the Bosnian State Court said in a statement.

The genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor kept the eastern Bosnian town Srebrenica under siege for most of the 1992-1995 Serbian aggression against Bosnia, shelling the town and preventing food convoys from entering.

The U.N. Security Council declared the town a safe zone in 1993,but,in July 1995,the genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor overran Srebrenica and mass murdered up to 10,000 Bosnian civilians.

The Srebrenica massacre has been deemed by the UN war crimes tribunal and the International Court of Justice to have constituted genocide. Thousands of bodies of the genocide victims have been uncovered from about 60 mass graves around Srebrenica.
