BOSNIAN PRESIDENCY MEMBER HARIS SILAJDZIC MET WITH AMBASSADOR OF HUNGARY

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (March 6,2008) – A member of the Bosnian Presidency Dr Haris Silajdžić met with Imre Varga, the Ambassador of Hungary to Bosnia.

They talked about the Euro-Atlantic integration process, as well as about the economic cooperation expansion between Hungary and Bosnia. Ambassador Varga said his country would continue to support Bosnia on its way to the EU and NATO memberships.

Ambassador Varga also stated that economic relations between the two countries could be considered good and that Hungarian companies want to expand their cooperation with Bosnian businessmen and increase investments in Bosnia.

Dr Silajdžić thanked Ambassador Varga for the Hungarian support to Bosnia, as well as for supporting Bosnia in receiving additional visa facilitation even before its full-fledged European Union membership.
