CROATIAN AMBASSADOR HOSTED A FAREWELL RECEPTION FOR IRANIAN AMBASSADOR TO BOSNIA

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (September 3,2007) – The Croatian Ambassador to Bosnia Josip Vrbosic hosted a farewell reception, organized for the Iranian Ambassador to Bosnia Mohammad Reza Morshed Zedah.

Ambassador Zedah’s mandate ends and will continue his mission in Denmark. Vrbosic thanked his Iranian colleague for a fair performance of all of his duties and expressed conviction that his work has helped improve the relations between Bosnia and Iran, especially in the field of economy, culture and politics.

Ambassador Zedah said that he tried in the past two years to find optimal solutions for improvement of relationship between the two countries.

He added that Iran has two neighbors in need of help – Iraq and Afghanistan, but that Bosnia has never been forgotten.

He added in the end that Bosnia still needs help form its neighbors,EU and International Community as a whole.
