VALUE TRADED ON SARAJEVO STOCK EXCHANGE GROWS BY 67.31 PER CENT

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (August 7,2008) - In July 2008 a total of 44,291,582 Bosnian Marks was traded on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, and the market accounted for 70.19 per cent of the total value traded on the Bosnian capital market. There were 2,930 transactions last month, and 1,036,346 shares were traded.

The official market had a share of 3.42 per cent in the turnover. Bosnian pharmaceutical company Bosnalijek’s share was traded the most, but still lost 6.37 per cent. Sarajevo osiguranje followed, also down by 7.69 per cent.

Value traded on the free market reached 38,743,215 Bosnian Marks (87.47 per cent share). ABS Banka was the most traded share, followed by GP Bosna, BH Telecom and FDS. SASE indexes were down in July: SASX-10 lost 7.08 per cent and BIFX lost 5.38 per cent, compared to June.

Raiffeisen Brokers had the biggest share in turnover last month, AA Kapital Brokers in volume.
