CROATIAN WAR CRIMINAL SLAVKO SAKIC ARRESTED IN BOSNIA

LIVNO, Bosnia (May 20,2008) - The Bosnian police arrested yesterday a former fascist Croatian aggressor's soldier suspected of committing war crimes against Bosnian civilians during the Croatian aggression against Bosnia in the early 1990's.

Croatian war criminal Slavko Sakic, 35, was detained in the southwestern Bosnian town of Livno, on suspicion of committing war crimes against Bosnian civilians, Boris Grubesic, the Bosnian State Prosecutor’s Office Spokesperson said,without elaborating.

The alleged war crimes took place in 1993 in the central Bosnian town of Bugojno.

Some estimates say 200,000 people were killed and 2.2 million displaced during the 1992-1995 Serbian,Montenegrin and Croatian aggressions against Bosnia.
