SARAJEVO, Bosnia (May 20,2008) - An initiative was presented by the Bosnian company Intersped Sarajevo in Algeria, during the Bosnian-Algerian business forum, to launch a shipping service between the two countries.
More precisely, the company has proposed that those BH companies which export to Algeria, Libya, Egypt and Turkey be offered a cheaper means of transportation.
The Ploce harbour would be their “collection point”. Algeria has been a traditional market for the Bosnian companies Energoinvest and Natron, while a lot of the Bosnian wood is headed for Egypt. On its way back, the ship could also be loaded with cargo at Turkish ports of Mersin and Izmir.
