"After the evaluation of all bids, we found the offer of Turkish Airlines by far the best," the senior official said on the sidelines of the Crans Montana economic forum in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo.
Malaysian Comintel Corporation and a Jordanian consortium that includes Royal Jordanian Airline were among companies that made binding bids for a 49 percent stake in the company.
The official said Turkish Airlines has proposed to cover the cost of leasing two Boeing aircraft of 5 million Euros (6.81 million US Dollars) and take over a previous government loan on condition of getting an increased stake in the company.
