BOSNIAN STATE COURT INDICTS SERBIAN WAR CRIMINAL ZORAN TOMIC FOR GENOCIDE

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (26 August,2008) - The Bosnian State Court confirmed yesterday the Indictment against a former member of the genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor's formations on a charge of Genocide for taking part in the mass murder of up to 10,000 Bosnian civilians from the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica,during the 1992-1995 Serbian aggression against Bosnia.

The Indictment states that Serbian war criminal Zoran Tomic, intending to exterminate in part a group of Bosnians, as a member of the genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor's formations, in the period from 10 July to 19 July 1995, participated in the forcible transfer of the Bosnian population from the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica with the aim to execute them.

On 12 July 1995, the genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor's formations participated in the search of the Bosnian villages in the UN safe area of Srebrenica, in the vicinity of Potočari.

The Indictment also states that, on 13 July 1995,Serbian war criminal Zoran Tomic participated in the attacks in the area above Kamenica.

The Accused Tomić is alleged to have thus participated in the illegal detention of several thousand Bosnian civilians who were attempting to escape from the safe area and who were taken to warehouse of the Kravica Farming Cooperative where they were later mass murdered by the genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor.

Serbian war criminal Zoran Tomic was arrested by the Bosnian State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in June 2008.
