THIS YEAR'S LOCAL ELECTIONS IN BOSNIA WILL COST AROUND 11 MILLION BOSNIAN MARKS

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (June 19,2008) - “This year’s local elections in Bosnia will cost around 11 million Bosnian Marks, of which almost 7 million will be covered by counties and cities, while the government will cover around 4 million Bosnian Marks”, said Suad Arnautovic, the president of the Bosnian Central Election Commission.


“We want to go over all parts of the Bosnian election law and statutory regulations with the members of county and city election committees in order to prepare them adequately and improve the way the local elections scheduled for October 5 are carried out”, said Arnautovic.
