SARAJEVO, Bosnia (June 26,2008) – Bosnian film Snow, directed by Aida Begic is slated to officially open the 2008 Sarajevo international film festival (SFF).
Co-produced by Bosnia,Iran,Germany and France, the film relates the story of widowed women living in post-war Bosnia in 1997, who fight for their freedom and survival.
Snow premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival and received the Grand Prix Award of the event's Critics Week program.
The 14th Sarajevo Film Festival will be held from Aug 15 to 23, 2008.
