SARAJEVO, Bosnia (April 3,2008) - The joint Bosnian-Hungarian committee for economic cooperation had its first meeting in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo , on the basis of the Economic Cooperation Agreement signed in 2006. A protocol and rules of procedure were signed by representatives of the two sides.
Although Bosnia's trade exchange with Hungary grew by 21.6 per cent last year, there is still need for improvements in its structure, and finding new models of cooperation, it was said during the meeting.
The value of Hungarian exports to Bosnia was 487 million Bosnian Marks last year, while Bosnia exported to Hungary goods worth 220 million Bosnian Marks.
