SARAJEVO, Bosnia (March 24,2008)- Bosnian police has arrested two Serbian war criminals suspected of committing war crimes during the 1992-1995 Serbian aggression against Bosnia.
Serbian war criminals Marko Adamovic and Bosko Lukic were detained in the northwestern Bosnian towns of Banja Luka and Prijedor respectively, on suspicion of committing war crimes against Bosnian civilians, Boris Grubesic,Bosnian State Prosecutor’s Office Spokesperson said.
The alleged crimes took place at the start of the 1992-95 Serbian aggression against Bosnia in the western town of Kljuc.Hundreds of Bosnian civilians were murdered in Kljuc and surrounding villages while the remaining residents were forced by the genocidal Serbian aggressor to move out.
Thousands of Bosnian civilians were imprisoned in the concentration camps in the area, including the notorious Manjaca.
Some estimates say 200,000 people were killed and 2.2 million displaced during the 1992-1995 Serbian,Montenegrin and Croatian aggressions against Bosnia.
