SARAJEVO, Bosnia (March 6,2008) – The Bosnian State Prosecutor submitted an indictment against Serbian war criminal Momir Savic (56) to the Bosnian State Court for confirmation.The Prosecution considers Serbian war criminal Momir Savic responsible for crimes against humanity.
According to an announcement issued by the Bosnian State Prosecutor, Serbian war criminal Momir Savic is charged, as member of the genocidal paramilitary formations of the Serbians living in Bosnia, with having participated in deportation ,rape and mass murder of the Bosnian civilians from the eastern Bosnian town of Visegrad from April to September 1992,during the Serbian aggression against Bosnia.
Serbian war criminal Momir Savic is charged with having committed, personally or together with other members of the Serbian aggressor's formationos, murder, forcible deportation of people, detention, torture, rape, forcible disappearance and other inhumane act of similar nature. He is also indicted for having failed to prevent or sanction his subordinates who committed war crimes.
