SARAJEVO, Bosnia (March,20,2008) – Foreign Affairs Ministers of Bosnia and Andorra Sven Alkalaj and Meritxell Mateu Pi, agreed in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo yesterday to intensify cooperation between the two countries, especially in the sector of education and tourism.
It has been stated at the meeting that Andorra has provided significant help for Bosnia in the education reform sector.
The Bosnian Foreign Affairs Minister Sven Alkalaj stated that the Andorran experts provided help for Bosnia in the process of fulfilment of the conditions necessary for membership to the Council of Europe.
Apart from cooperation in the sector of education and tourism and signing of certain agreements, intensification of cooperation has also been agreed in other sectors. For that purpose, visits of the two countries’ delegations will follow at a high level.
They also talked about the progress Bosnia has made in the process of the European integrations.
