THE HAGUE, The Netherlands (February 22,2008) – On the initiative of the Bosnian embassy in The Netherlands, and in response to the interest of more than 40 companies from the Lansingerland region in western Netherlands, representatives of the Bosnian Foreign Investment and Promotion Agency (FIPA) held a presentation at Lansingerland’s municipal government office.
They discussed investment opportunities in Bosnia, and focus was on wood and metal processing industries, agriculture, energy, transport and tourism.
Dutch businessmen showed great interest for legal framework for foreign investments, expenses and modern business activity, as well as for the level of education on labour market in Bosnia.
The Ambassador of Bosnia in the Netherlands Fuad Sabeta emphasized that Bosnia's interest is initiation of the activities which bring closer Bosnian economic potentials to Dutch business partners and represent a step towards improvement of relations of the two countries.
