SARAJEVO, Bosnia (January 7,2008) - The foreign exchange reserves of the Bosnian Central Bank exceeded five billion of US Dollars at the end of 2007.
The Bosnian Central Bank concluded 2007 year with 6, 69 billion Bosnian Marks (3, 42 billion Euros or US Dollars 5, 03 billion) of foreign exchange reserves, which was the amount as of 31 December 2007.
Compared to the end of 2006, when they amounted 5,45 billion Bosnian Marks, the foreign exchange reserves increased by 1,24 billion Bosnian Marks last year.
The free foreign exchange reserves amounted 380 million Bosnian Marks at the end of 2007,the Bosnian Central Bank said.
