THIRD FAIR OF TURKISH ECONOMY BEGINS IN SARAJEVO

SARAJEVO, Bosnia (November 8,2007) – About 90 companies will present themselves at the Third Fair of Turkish Economy, which is taking place in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, from November 7 to November 11.

The Fair is organized by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce with support of the Bosnian Foreign Trade Chamber.

Trade between the two countries is not at the satisfactory level. Some positive improvements have been registered, however. In last year, the trade exchange mounted to 226 million dollars and in the nine months of this year, the exchange reached 220 million dollars.

Export-import coverage reached 9 per cent in 2007 and is higher compared to the previous years.
